Ishan, who hails from an illustrious family, lost his father during his childhood. He then moved to North Bengal along with his paternal uncle Sibasish (Chanda, a lawyer, and mother Aloka (Mithu). Now he works as a professional photographer and is a skilled painter too. Tilottama, who lost her husband seven years ago, carries the trauma of some tragic incident from her past.
